According to our Belgian source, the world’s first Tintin museum is tentatively scheduled to open in Brusells, Belgium sometime in May of 2009. We have been invited to attend the opening as VIP’s (natch) and are very interested to see what Moulinsart has managed to put together to honor Herge’s creations. We have visited Tintin exhibits before – the most recent in Quebec City put on by the “Musée de la Civilisation” – and were impressed with the quality of the materials and attention to detail. The new museum should be nothing short of spectacular. We will obviously have more on this as we learn more.
