So, my wife and son go to Vietnam for almost two weeks, and what do I get? Yes, that’s right, folks, I get a bunch of knock-off Tintin merch. Though, I do have to say that the quality is pretty awesome.
Apparently, this is an inside joke. Hanoi is famous for the quantity of electrical and telephone wires dangling throughout the city. I also like the star they added on Tintin's jumper.

The Tintin Blog was contacted recently by the China Exploration and Research Society (CERS), an NGO dedicated to exploring remote parts of Asia and preserving culture and wildlife in order to enrich the understanding of our cultural and natural heritage. CERS is holding an auction on November 18 to aid in their conservation work. Part of the auction includes a copy of Tintin in Tibet signed by His Holiness the Dalai Lama.
